A little while ago I came up with a recipe for a gluten free chocolate cake using up leftover cooked rice. It was quite a successful recipe and after I cooked it a few times , I concluded that my first couple of tries were good…and we were happy. So I have now tested out some hazelnut flour from work with the zest of two oranges and the same recipe. Nice.
The next thing is this……dearest people. Just when you wonder if you are doing a good job, when you wonder if cooking and writing recipes for others to see is actually being read by someone……anyone?…….something happens to make you feel very humble.
I was so excited the other day when I received an email from someone that asked me a question about the type of flour I used and why. I answered her and when she got back to me she sent a picture from a friend of hers that reads My Kitchen Stories. She had made my no bake chocolate tart for the kids and they had taken a picture. I am thrilled to bits and I will feature her picture shortly but first…..I thank you to everyone that visits!
